Job Description

Comprehensive General Dentist ("Super GP"): Lincoln Park, Chicago

Lincoln Park, Chicago, IL | Full-Time or Part-Time | Doctor-Owned Private Practice | PPO/FFS Only | $200,000–$375,000 per year

If you love the full scope of dentistry and want the autonomy to treatment plan the care your patients actually need, this is your seat. A thriving doctor-owned practice in one of Chicago's most desirable neighborhoods is adding an experienced general dentist who can keep more treatment in-house: molar endo, surgical extractions and straightforward implants, alongside excellent restorative care.

This is not a limited bread-and-butter position. It's built for a true Super GP who wants quality dentistry without production quotas or private equity metrics.

The work

  • Comprehensive restorative, crowns and bridges, full-mouth treatment planning and cosmetic procedures
  • Endodontics, including posterior teeth (mandibular molar endo strongly preferred)
  • Routine and surgical extractions, straightforward third molars and socket preservation
  • Straightforward surgical placement of single-unit implants, implant restoration and implant treatment planning
  • Efficient, high-quality everyday dentistry for a loyal patient base

The practice

  • Doctor-owned and operated, with clinical autonomy
  • PPO and fee-for-service only: no Medicaid, no HMO
  • Fully digital, with CBCT, intraoral scanners, modern operatories and digital workflows
  • Experienced assistants and a strong hygiene program
  • Established patient base, consistent new patient flow and a strong referral reputation
  • Long-term partnership opportunity for the right clinician

Schedule

Full-time or part-time, based on your availability and career goals.

Benefits (eligible full-time doctors)

  • Medical, dental and vision insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Malpractice coverage
  • Continuing education support
  • Mentorship and collaboration with experienced doctors

Why Lincoln Park

Lakefront access, great restaurants and shopping, excellent public transit, a thriving residential community and an easy commute from across the Chicago metro.

What you need

  • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
  • An active Illinois dental license, or the ability to obtain one
  • Strong communication and treatment planning skills
  • Comfort across a broad scope of general dentistry; experience with surgical extractions, molar endo and straightforward implant placement strongly preferred

Compensation

$200,000–$375,000 per year. A competitive daily guarantee during onboarding, then highly competitive collections-based pay, supported by immediate production and consistent patient demand.

How to be considered

Apply with your CV and a short note on your Illinois license status, whether you want full-time or part-time, and how often you do molar endo, surgical extractions and implant placement.

This is a confidential search. The practice name is shared after a brief screen, so please do not contact the practice directly.
