Internship Program 2027

The Tetra Pak Internship Program is your pass to the professional world, offering you hands-on experience and valuable networking opportunities. You will experience real situations in the corporate world and develop on a personal and professional level. Upon joining our team, you will have the support of a network of colleagues and will be instructed and evaluated by a mentor, who will guide and accompany you in your day-to-day activities. In addition, we have an onboarding program designed to better prepare you to put your full potential into action.

We are offering three (3) technical internship based in Denton, TX.

Salary Range: $22-$25 / hour

Please note, for internships that will be within a factory environment, you will be walking around a production facility frequently which will require you to wear steel toe safety shoes, wear a company provided uniform, wear proper protective equipment (hair net, ear plugs, safety glasses), and remove any jewelry.

All safety gear is provided by Tetra Pak, including a shoe voucher for the intern to purchase safety shoes.

Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas, relocation, or housing for these positions.

What you will do

Calibration Intern (Chase Stewart)

Duration: Long-term (May 31, 2027 - April 28, 2028) Full-time until mid-August, then part-time max. 20 hours/week

In this role, you will support your colleagues on the Field Services team.

Your Key Responsibilities will be:

• Handle shipping and receiving of calibration kits.
• Maintain and organize calibration kits.
• Help extract and manage data from databases to create equipment lists.
• Assist with creating calibration procedures and forms

We would love to work with an intern who has:

• Foundational knowledge or hands-on experience in calibration.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power BI and Power Apps.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications is a plus.
• Current enrollment in college, ideally in your last two (2) years of College, and you are interested in taking your career to the next level.
• Suggested majors: Engineering, Metrology or Food Science

Continuous Improvement Intern (Martin Fernandez)

Duration: Long-term (May 31, 2027 - April 28, 2028) Full-time until mid-August, then part-time max. 20 hours/week

What you will do:

• Assist in creating and maintaining interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
• Support the standardization of visual management tools and reporting practices across operations.
• Contribute to the implementation of digital solutions and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at identifying, tracking, and reducing operational losses.
• Help analyze data and provide insights to improve efficiency, performance, and process visibility.

What Youll Learn:

• Hands-on experience with Power BI and data visualization.
• Exposure to digital transformation and continuous improvement projects.
• Opportunities to work with cross-functional teams to solve real business challenge

The World Class Manufacturing (WCM) Office supports the implementation of WCM methodologies throughout the plant, with a focus on identifying and eliminating operational losses, driving continuous improvement, and enhancing performance. The team consists of a WCM Manager, a Coordinator, and two Analysts who specialize in Education & Training (E&T) initiatives and plant information systems, including P2 and SAP (BEX).

Industrial Engineer Intern (Rafael Lanza)

Duration: Long-term (May 31, 2027 - April 28, 2028) Full-time until mid-August, then part-time max. 20 hours/week

In this area, your main activities will be to:

• Support initiatives aimed at achieving Perfect Pallet, Perfect Order, and Productivity objectives.
• Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Assist with process improvement projects within the finishing area to enhance workflow and operational performance.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and continuous improvement teams to implement solutions that reduce waste and rework.
• Collect, track, and analyze operational data to support decision-making and performance improvement efforts.

Suggested majors: Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering and/or Quality Engineering

We believe you have

• Bachelor studies in any of the majors mentioned in each opportunity, coursing your two (2) last years of university/college, and you are interested in taking your career to the next level these opportunities are for you.
• Availability to work Full time during summer.
