About the Role

As a Store Department Manager - Operations and Facilities at Ariat''s Bloomington, MN location, you are responsible for managing the store''s cash handling, systems, processes, procedures, and paperwork, and overseeing the cashiers. This position will also be responsible for ensuring facility maintenance PMs are conducted, and office and store supplies are inventoried and ordered regulary. The role will oversee Ariat''s off-site warehouse, ensuring inventory levels are maintained. The Store Department Manager will also monitor daily reports for store inventory replenishment. This role will maintain a pulse on the store environment, opening and closing the store, and managing day-to-day operations along with the General Manager and Sales and Service

  • Establishing clear goals, performance expectations, and accountability across all departments

About You

  • 5+ years of retail management experience leading high-volume, multi-department retail operations
  • Experience in apparel, footwear, lifestyle, or specialty retail environments preferred
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop large teams
  • Strong business acumen with experience managing sales performance, payroll, inventory, and operational KPIs
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
  • Proficiency with retail POS systems, inventory systems, and Microsoft Office applications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
  • Valid driver's license required

Schedule & Travel Requirements

  • Full-time availability required, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak retail periods
  • Occasional travel for meetings, training, events, or store support may be require
  • Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to regularly bend, reach, and move throughout the store environment
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
