About the Role

The Deployments Engineering team is responsible for the technical systems and standards that make Base installs safe, repeatable, and scalable-covering installation design, electrical and mechanical specifications, field diagnostics, and equipment performance. We solve the difficult, high-impact problems that determine whether a system goes into the ground correctly the first time. Joining this team means getting hands-on exposure to how hardware engineering translates into real homes, at scale.

What Youll Do

• Support the review and refinement of installation designs and technical specifications used by field crews.

• Assist with troubleshooting technical issues that arise during deployment, from electrical faults to mechanical fit issues.

• Help build and maintain documentation, checklists, and technical standards used across install crews.

• Analyze field data to identify recurring issues and propose engineering or process improvements.

• Support commissioning and quality-check processes to ensure systems meet performance and safety standards.

• Coordinate with operations and field teams to translate engineering requirements into practical, on-the-ground execution.

• Contribute to tooling or documentation that helps the engineering team scale its support across new markets.
