    Essential Duties:

    • Collect, receive, label, preserve, and analyze samples while maintaining sample integrity and chain-of-custody expectations
    • Follow established QA/QC protocols, including calibration checks, control samples, documentation review, and corrective action when results fall outside expected ranges
    • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation used for water quality testing
    • Validate, record, and transfer test results accurately to support compliance reporting and operational decision-making
    • Identify potential testing, sampling, or data quality issues and communicate findings promptly to support safe and reliable facility performance.
    • Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety standards, inventory readiness, and documentation practices required for remote facility operations

    Requirements:

    • EDUCATION: Associate's degree or undergraduate degree in a related field of study preferred

    • EXPERIENCE:

    • 2-3 years' experience in water quality testing, sampling, QA/QC protocols, calibration procedures, sample integrity, and data validation preferred

    • Municipal water or wastewater laboratories, industrial water treatment facilities, environmental laboratories, chemical manufacturing quality labs, or oilfield water quality operations

    • TRAVEL: Varies depending on job site

    • OTHER:

    • Submit to and satisfactorily complete pre-employment background, medical, alcohol, and drug screening.

    • Must possess a valid Driver's License.

    • Able and willing to work a rotating shift schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime, if applicable.

    • Able and willing to work independently in remote field locations and collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams.
