    Job Description

    PREMIER BRANDS GROUP HOLDINGS

Iconic by Nature, Exceptional by Design

Premier Brands Group Holdings is a leading global apparel group of iconic brands, offering a diverse portfolio in denim, women’s apparel, and jewelry. Driven by excellence and innovative talent, Premier Brands Group is comprised of three distinct businesses that create top-tier products for the discerning consumer:

The Kasper Group: An apparel industry leader for 30+ years, committed to excellence in offering iconic brands and relevant womenswear designs.

One Jeanswear Group: Designs and distributes a distinguished portfolio of branded and private label Jeanswear throughout North America.

The Jewelry Group: Holds a 20+ year legacy of developing, sourcing, and selling elevated fashion jewelry pieces with a design-centric point of view.

We are looking for a creative, highly organized, and proactive Design Assistant to join our team. In this role, you'll provide essential support to our design process, from initial sketching through final production tracking. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to our private label accounts and see your work come to life.

We are specifically looking for recent college graduates with a Fashion Design degree who are based in the NYC area and ready to grow their careers within a fast-paced wholesale corporate environment.

    What You'll Do

    • Develop & Create: Contribute directly to the seasonal design process by sketching in Adobe Illustrator and developing detailed tech packs and product specifications.
    • Sample Management: Own the day-to-day organization, checking in, and tracking of all design and prototype samples. Prepare samples for critical line reviews and presentations (steaming, hanging, and organizing).
    • Process Support: Create, update, and maintain physical and digital presentation boards. Manage accurate data entry within the PLM system for both development and production styles.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a key daily liaison with the Production department. Organize and manage trims, artwork layout packages, and other design-related materials.
