Job Summary
As a Design Build Sales Executive, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by securing negotiated and invitation-to-bid opportunities in close collaboration with our engineering team. You will lead the full sales lifecycle - from initial engagement through project award - while building and strengthening strategic relationships with customers and industry partners.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company growth objectives for design-build and negotiated projects.• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including building owners, developers, general contractors, engineers, and architects.• Collaborate with internal and external engineering and design teams to deliver innovative, energy-efficient, and cost-effective solutions tailored to client needs.• Evaluate project requirements, specifications, and budgets to develop accurate, competitive proposals and estimates.• Lead client presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations to successfully secure new business.• Partner with project managers and field teams to ensure seamless project execution and high levels of client satisfaction.• Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to identify and pursue new business opportunities.• Represent the company professionally at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to strengthen brand presence and expand the client base.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.• Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong emphasis on design-build within the mechanical contracting industry.• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and related mechanical systems.• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory to meet with clients and support business development efforts.
