    The Role …

    We're looking for a skilled Design Engineer to help develop and refine innovative, high‑performance equipment designs. In this role, you'll serve as a vital link between engineering and production, ensuring that every solution meets performance requirements, adheres to industry standards, and remains cost‑effective to manufacture.

    What You'll Do …

    • Interpret technical specifications and apply relevant industry standards to meet custom design requirements
    • Develop equipment designs focused on safety, performance, reliability, cost efficiency, serviceability, and competitiveness
    • Perform engineering calculations and analyses to support sound technical decisions
    • Review and optimize manufacturing drawings for accuracy and fabrication efficiency
    • Prepare detailed technical documentation and procedures for customer submittals
    • Select materials, components, and purchased parts, including drafting procurement specifications for custom items
    • Evaluate supplier quotations for technical compliance and overall value
    • Develop testing procedures and acceptance criteria to validate equipment performance and reliability
    • Troubleshoot issues encountered during manufacturing, testing, or field operation
    • Maintain project schedules, identify risks, and prioritize key milestones
    • Track material and labor costs to ensure alignment with project budgets
    • Assist with estimating and preparing equipment proposals for bid packages

    What We're Looking For …

    • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Nuclear Engineering
    • 1-3 years of experience in design engineering
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, online platforms, and engineering software tools
    • Strong ability to interpret and analyze technical drawings and documentation
    • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
    • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

    Additional Requirements …

    • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and background check
    • Authorization to work in the United States
    • On-site position at our Batavia, OH facility
    • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% annually
