    Description

    Summary:
    We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Designer/Modeler to join our engineering team in a full-time, onsite role. This position plays a key role in supporting product design and development efforts through accurate 3D modeling and drafting. The ideal candidate is a strong collaborator with hands-on experience in Creo and a passion for precision and continuous improvement.

    Responsibilities:

    • Create and revise 3D models and 2D drawings using Creo software.
    • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to develop accurate designs that meet project specifications.
    • Manage and maintain data using PDM/Windchill systems.
    • Perform basic tolerance stack-up analyses to support robust design decisions.
    • Apply consistent documentation and drafting standards to ensure clear communication across teams.
    • Follow internal modeling best practices and contribute to improving design efficiency.

    Qualifications Requisition:

    • Proficiency with Creo for modeling and drafting.
    • Experience using PDM/Windchill for data management.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
    • Strong collaboration skills with engineers and cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to calculate basic tolerance stack-ups.

    Qualifications Preferred:

    • Familiarity with ASME Y14.5 dimensioning and tolerancing standards.
    • Experience annotating models directly within Creo.
    • High attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Commitment to following and improving modeling best practices.

    Additional Notes:

    • This is a 1st shift, onsite-only position.
    • Local candidates only will be considered.
    • Candidates must be prepared to wear metatarsal safety boots starting on their first day.
