Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to provide Windows desktop support, PC imaging, hardware troubleshooting, endpoint management, and technical assistance to end users. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Windows 11, SCCM/MECM, Microsoft Intune, software deployment, OS patching, and PC lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end PC lease schedules and computer equipment lifecycle.
• Perform warranty and non-warranty hardware repairs in coordination with hardware manufacturers.
• Install, configure, maintain, patch, and upgrade Windows operating systems and applications.
• Perform PC imaging, OS deployment, software installation, and configuration.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and endpoint-related issues.
• Resolve PC vulnerabilities through remote support and deskside visits.
• Manage end-user tickets, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution.
• Provide deskside support, including executive support and hands-on technical assistance.
• Assist with hardware and software implementations, testing, upgrades, and deployments.
• Track IT assets using asset tags, serial numbers, and location details.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving of IT equipment and materials.
• Support lab technicians with software installations, reinstalls, patching, upgrades, and security remediation.
• Install, replace, and troubleshoot computer components, servers, switches, routers, printers, and other peripherals.
• Use local KVM or remote access tools to troubleshoot systems and execute technical instructions.
• Provide occasional after-hours and weekend support for critical incidents.
• Travel to nearby customer sites, approximately 45-50 miles away, when required.

Must-Have Technical Skills:

• Windows 10/11 operating systems, especially Windows 11.
• Deskside support and desktop engineering.
• SCCM/MECM and Microsoft Intune.
• PC imaging and OS deployment.
• Computer hardware troubleshooting and configuration.
• Software packaging, deployment, patching, and upgrades.
• Basic networking and server administration.
• Endpoint management and vulnerability remediation.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
