Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Desktop Support Technician for a Contract with a client in Evansville, IN. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Windows environments, software installation, and desktop support in a fast-paced setting.

Rate Range: $28/Hour to $30/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Desktop Support Technician Responsibilities include:

• Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues.

• Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, operating systems, and business applications.

• Coordinate device imaging, deployment, and exchange appointments with end users.

• Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.

• Monitor and maintain IT equipment, including printers, scanners, and conferencing devices.

• Follow up with users to ensure issue resolution and deliver a high level of customer support.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 2-4 years of experience in desktop support, technical support, or helpdesk environments.

• Strong experience troubleshooting Windows-based systems, hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.

• Proficiency with device imaging, software installation, and end-user support activities.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
