Desktop Support Technician needed for a Contract to Hire position working onsite in Manchester, NH!
Seeking a Desktop Support Technician to support and maintain technology equipment and provide escalated support for computers, IT services, and related hardware. This individual will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, install, and support computer systems, printers, peripherals, and end-user technology while assisting with leadership, operational, and strategic IT initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide advanced desktop and end-user support
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues
Assist with interviewing support technicians
Support IT leadership on strategic projects and operational initiatives
Manage user account requests and terminations
Administer Azure Active Directory, MFA, device management, and PowerShell synchronization
Support web filtering administration and troubleshooting
Assist with vendor management and procurement activities
Maintain and verify IT documentation and procedures
Help ensure proper distribution of support tickets and workload
Provide network and infrastructure support as needed
Support managed print services
Track service requests through completion
Provide Zoom Rooms and Microsoft Teams A/V support
Collaborate with other IT teams on various initiatives
Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent experience
7+ years of IT Support/Help Desk experience with increasing responsibility
2+ years of recent mobile device management experience
Strong experience supporting:
Windows
macOS/iOS
Android
Chromebook
Microsoft Office
Experience with Azure Active Directory
Hosted VoIP support experience
Basic server and network administration knowledge
Strong customer service and communication skills
Experience training and supporting end users
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
