Duties & Responsibilities:
- Keeps new and used vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the Detail Supervisor and in accordance with dealership display standards.
- Clean interior and exterior of new and used vehicles, including the trunk, glove compartment, tires, windows, etc. As needed.
- Manage the cycle time of a vehicle from acquisition / arrival to completion.
- Picks up vehicles from and delivers vehicles to customers as directed by management.
- Always maintains showroom and stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition.
- Keeps work area neat and clean.
- Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
- Uses proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.
- Review current priorities with managers
- Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
- Strive for harmony and teamwork within the department and with all departments.
- Maintain awareness of safety and follow workplace safety requirements.
- Ability to speak and listen effectively one on one.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Automotive detail experience 1-2 years.
- Buffing specialization is a plus.
