The schedule provides every other weekend as a three-day break, allowing for a balanced combination of work and time off.As a Detention Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety, security, and order of the detention facility. Your responsibilities will include monitoring inmate activities, conducting well-being checks, and overseeing various programs and activities for inmates. You will assist with booking and court processing, and rotate through assignments in areas such as booking, maximum security, and primary housing units. When necessary, you will participate in the Correctional Emergency Response Team, responding to high-risk situations and supporting your colleagues.
