Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in New York, NY/Alpharetta, GA. The ideal candidate will be Responsible for administering and optimizing critical platforms, ensuring high availability, performance tuning, automation, and reliable production support across enterprise systems.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Administer, maintain, and support Redis (Standalone, Sentinel, and Cluster) and Elasticsearch environments to ensure optimal performance and availability.

• Manage and monitor Kafka infrastructure, including brokers, topics, partitions, replication, and consumer groups.

• Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, backups, and disaster recovery activities across platform environments.

• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and provide on-call support for critical systems.

• Automate operational and administrative tasks using Shell scripting, Python, and infrastructure automation tools.

• Collaborate with application, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to improve platform stability, scalability, security, and overall system performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and Linux environments.

• Strong experience administering, troubleshooting, and optimizing Redis, Elasticsearch, and Kafka platforms in enterprise production environments.

• Proficiency in Linux administration, automation using Shell/Python scripting, and performance tuning with a focus on high availability and incident management.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $56.00 per hour
