Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate Responsible for leading architecture, mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and ensuring high-performance, secure, and reliable application delivery.

Rate Range: $55/Hour to $60/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable APIs and microservices using Java Spring Boot, REST, and GraphQL.

• Define and enforce API standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines to ensure consistency across applications.

• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and drive engineering excellence through technical leadership.

• Design and implement secure, high-performing, and highly available solutions leveraging AWS services such as Lambda, S3, RDS, and Kafka (MSK).

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver robust, business-critical applications and enhancements.

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, optimize database queries (SQL), and ensure application scalability, reliability, and performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 10+ years of experience in Java application development, with extensive hands-on expertise in Spring Boot and microservices architecture.

• Strong experience designing, developing, and deploying REST and GraphQL APIs, along with implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.

• Proven expertise with AWS services including Lambda, S3, RDS, MSK Kafka, and other cloud-native technologies.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
