Developer (Python, JavaScript, TypeScript) (Hybrid)

We're hiring a Developer (Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript) to join our team in Columbia, SC. This role offers a hybrid schedule, with onsite work required Tuesday through Thursday.

Work Authorization: Sponsorship is not available for this role; no C2C or third-party candidates. Candidates must be able to work on our W2.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain a low-level U.S. security clearance, which requires a thorough background screening and U.S. citizenship
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Experience with pipeline tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, and DevOps Deploy
• Experience with and integrating external APIs, particularly HTTP RESTful APIs, is a big plus
• Containerization experience (OpenShift/Kubernetes/Docker) is also a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and enhance the tools that make up the development pipeline
• Write scripts, build test code, and integrate automation
• Own, administer, troubleshoot, and support the platforms the team manages
• Participate in a week-long on-call rotation roughly five times per year

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree; OR
• Degree Equivalency: 4 years of job-related work experience or 2 years of job-related experience plus an Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree

The hourly rate for this position is $50.36.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript, along with experience in using pipeline tools and integrating APIs. They should be capable of obtaining a low-level U.S. security clearance and have a background in computer science or a related field.
