Development Engineer, Mechanics- Intern

Join us and take your career to the next level

Develop and support mechanical systems for current and future projects in the Product Development team. Demonstrate a broad understanding of systems and system-interactions for both diesel and electric powered Kalmar terminal tractor. Design subsystems to meet global customer needs, legislation and internal requirements.

What are your key responsibilities:

• Develop new truck components and assemblies.
• Process Engineering change requests and implement design changes.
• According to customer demands, choose design solutions, materials, and components.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What you bring to the role:

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Pursuing a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering field. Junior or higher, strongly preferred

Experience:

• 3D modelling, Catia preferred
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Proficient in the use of Google suite software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Slides, Google Drive and Calendar).
• Strong work ethic, dependable
• High Attention to Detail
