In this Development Engineering Manager opportunity in Eatontown, NJ, you’ll lead New Product Development (NPD) and New Product Introduction (NPI) projects while partnering closely with operations and quality to achieve production goals and meet customer requirements.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Development Engineering Manager position include:

• 5+ years of experience in a new product development environment, including experience managing an engineering team.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related scientific field; Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering preferred. Advanced degrees are a plus.
• Experience within a medical device manufacturing environment is strongly preferred, particularly hands-on product development involving IV products, catheters, medical tubing, infusion products, vascular access devices, or similar disposable medical products.
• Lead NPD and NPI projects by establishing and meeting key milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.
• Oversee product development activities, including contract development, product design, prototyping, and testing for internal and customer requirements.
• Manage the effective utilization of equipment, facilities, and personnel across development projects.
• Assign and supervise tasks, review results, and drive improvements in accuracy, quality, timeliness, and overall performance.
• Provide technical support to improve safety, quality, productivity, and financial performance, including root-cause analysis and structured problem-solving.
• Coach, mentor, and train engineers and staff to expand manufacturing knowledge, implement Lean principles, and maintain compliance with cGMP requirements.

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
