Akkodis is seeking a Devops Cloud Engineer for a Contract with a client in Plano, TX. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and observability tools while implementing monitoring solutions, enforcing security best practices, and managing cloud infrastructure.
Rate Range: $40/Hour to $45/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Devops Cloud Engineer Job Responsibilities include:
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments (Dev, QA, Prod) using modern DevOps practices.
Develop and maintain cloud-based applications using .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
Implement monitoring and observability solutions using Datadog, including dashboards, alerts, and log management.
Ensure security and compliance by enforcing IAM policies, container security best practices, and secure secrets management.
Manage and optimize cloud databases (RDS) and storage solutions for performance and scalability.
Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and support Agile delivery and cloud migration initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in Cloud DevOps, AWS, and application development.
Strong hands-on expertise in AWS services, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS), and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
Proven experience in observability tools like Datadog, security best practices, and managing scalable cloud-based applications using .NET and scripting languages.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
