Work you'll do

As a DevOps Contractor, you will design, automate, and support secure cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines for financial services clients. You will work with development, QA, and security teams to improve software delivery, strengthen reliability, and apply consistent security practices across enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or Tekton.
• Deploy, configure, and scale containerized applications on Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.
• Provision and maintain infrastructure and platform resources using Terraform and Helm.
• Help design secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot Linux servers, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Work with client stakeholders and engineering teams to resolve deployment issues, apply architecture standards, and improve delivery workflows.
• Incorporate security practices into infrastructure and deployment processes.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
• At least 6 years of experience in DevOps engineering, cloud architecture, or site reliability engineering, preferably in client-facing or enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience building and improving CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and/or Tekton.
• Experience deploying and supporting applications on Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Practical experience with Terraform and Helm.
• Experience designing, provisioning, or supporting cloud environments on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills, with experience in RHEL.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and client audiences

The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $70-$75 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
