    Description

    A dialysis center in the Nashville, Tennessee area is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its outpatient care team. This role focuses on delivering safe, high-quality hemodialysis treatment to patients managing chronic and acute kidney conditions, with an emphasis on patient education, care continuity, and close monitoring throughout each session.

    Responsibilities

    • Administer hemodialysis treatments in accordance with physician orders and established clinical protocols
    • Monitor patients throughout treatment, identifying and responding to complications promptly
    • Assess vascular access sites and manage catheter, fistula, or graft care
    • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, dietary considerations, and self-care between sessions
    • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and coordinate care with the broader nephrology team
    • Participate in quality assurance activities and infection control protocols

    Requirements

    • Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Tennessee (or active multistate/compact RN license)
    • Current BLS certification
    • Dialysis/nephrology nursing experience strongly preferred; new-to-dialysis RNs with strong acute care backgrounds may be considered
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient clinical setting
