    Description

    We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The Dialysis RN plays a critical role in the care of patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD), delivering safe, high-quality dialysis treatment and promoting patient well-being. This position requires clinical expertise, attention to detail, and a deep commitment to patient education and support.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform pre-, intra-, and post-dialysis assessments and monitor patients throughout treatment.

    • Initiate and discontinue dialysis treatments safely and effectively using appropriate vascular access techniques (AV fistulas, grafts, catheters).

    • Administer medications as prescribed and manage fluid removal rates per patient condition and treatment plan.

    • Educate patients and their families about dialysis procedures, home care, dietary restrictions, and overall health management.

    • Monitor and respond to complications or emergencies during dialysis, such as hypotension or access malfunction.

    • Collaborate with physicians, nephrologists, dietitians, and other care team members to provide comprehensive patient care.

    • Document all nursing assessments, interventions, medications, and patient responses in the electronic health record (EHR).

    • Maintain dialysis equipment and ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards.

    • Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
