Job Summary

The die-cut operator is responsible for the preparation, adjustment and operation of the cutting machines to produce high-quality folding cartons according to company standards. It ensures safety, accuracy and productivity while meeting production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and configure the cutting machine according to job specifications.
• Read, interpret and understand production records.
• Operate, analyze and adjust cutting dies to required specifications.
• Ensure proper maintenance, storage and storage of cutting dies to maintain their integrity and durability.
• Monitor production progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and accuracy of cuts.
• Perform regular quality checks and identify defects.
• Provide basic preventative maintenance and cleaning of the machine.
• Collaborate with other team members to optimize workflow.
• Document production activities and report any technical incidents or problems.
• Apply all internal procedures and occupational health and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Any other related tasks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant experience in printing or folding carton production.
• Knowledge of cutting machines and materials used.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Attention to detail and rigor in quality control.
• Ability to work standing and handle heavy materials.
• Good communication and team player.
• Organizational skills and respect for deadlines.

Compensation:

$20.16 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
