BASIC JOB DITUES: Perform all types of preventive maintenance & repairs on diesel & CNG engine trash trucks & other miscellaneous trucks & equipment. Knowledge of DOT / FMCSA inspection requirements with the ability to perform the necessary Pre/Post Trip inspections as well as the 90 day BIT inspections.
SKILLS REQUIRED (MINIMUM): 2-3 years heavy-duty truck maintenance / repair experience required above.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS: Previous experience in the refuse industry with electrical & hydraulic systems. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
