Diesel & Lube/Tire Technician

DIESEL & LUBE/TIRE TECHNICIANS – STEELE, NORTH DAKOTA (RELOCATION ASSISTANCE)

$25–$40/HOUR + COMMISSION OPPORTUNITIES | DOE & POSITION

Coffee Cup Travel Plaza in Steele, ND is hiring multiple Truck Service Technicians. We are looking for both experienced Diesel Technicians and motivated Lube/Tire Technicians who have some hands-on mechanical experience and are willing to learn.

EXPERIENCED DIESEL TECHNICIANS

Experienced Diesel Technicians will troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and maintain heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Candidates should have experience with diesel repair, heavy-duty truck service, diagnostics and general mechanical repairs.

LUBE/TIRE TECHNICIANS

Little to no professional diesel experience is required for our Lube/Tire Technician openings. Candidates should have some hands-on mechanical experience or basic mechanical aptitude, be comfortable working with tools and have a strong willingness to learn.

WHAT WE'D LIKE TO SEE

• Diesel, automotive, farm, equipment, lube/tire or other hands-on mechanical experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience for experienced Diesel Technician candidates
• Little to no professional diesel experience required for Lube/Tire Technician candidates
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Comfortable using hand tools and shop equipment
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and some holidays
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must successfully complete applicable pre-employment requirements, including:

• Criminal background check
• Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
• Insurability check
• Required DOT physical

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This is a hands-on position requiring the ability to stand, walk, kneel, stoop, bend and crouch; lift up to 50 pounds; move tires, parts and equipment; and safely work around heavy-duty trucks, tools and shop equipment.
