Diesel Mechanic
Mesa, AZ
The Diesel Mechanic will work directly with Project Managers, the Facility Manager, CDL drivers, other Fleet Mechanics and so on. Working with that many people requires patience, cooperation, problem solving and thorough communication. Working hours are dictated completely by the length of time it takes to complete work within deadlines, but it could be anticipated that a Fleet Mechanic may labor for roughly 45 hours a week.

Role and Responsibilities
Manage repairs of rolling fleet in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Manage inventory of maintenance supplies (tires, batteries, filters, etc.)
Manage tracking of spare trucks, trailers & field welders.
Maintain an organized and tidy shop.
Able to organize and track inventory of maintenance supplies.
Ability to research and compare vendors to maximize cost & efficiency.
Good organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize and delegate accordingly.
Able to research and track down parts.
Qualifications and Experience
Knowledge of Hydraulic diagnosis and repair on forklifts and other equipment.
Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and writing communication skills.
Must possess knowledge of Occupational hazards and standard safety precautions.
Be able to diagnose and repair wiring and electrical issues.
Ability to input information in software and emails/ Basic computers skills.
