Advance Fleet Services is a rapidly growing fleet service provider, dedicated to delivering exceptional service for all makes and models of heavy-duty equipment. We pride ourselves on our highly skilled team and are seeking experienced Diesel Technicians to expand our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles (class 3 - 8).
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using computer programs.
Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on diesel equipment.
Repair or replace faulty parts and components.
Weld and solder as necessary for repairs.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns.
Maintain accurate notes on repair orders.
Ensure a safe and clean working environment. Participate in occasional roadside service.
Qualifications:
2+ years of diesel mechanic experience preferred.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to provide own tools and toolbox.
Familiarity with DOT inspections, air systems, electrical diagnostics, and repairs.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
EPA 608-609 license, ASE certification, and CDL preferred but not required.
Experience with programs such as Cummins Insite, Tech Tool, and JPRO is a plus.
Training Opportunities:
Qualified candidates will receive training in:
Cummins ISX, ISB, and ISL.
ASE certifications.
DOT and OEM training.
Software training for all makes and models in North America.
