Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Diesel Mechanic responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing diesel engines and heavy-duty equipment, including trucks, trailers, and related systems. This position requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, quality repairs, and equipment reliability.
What You’ll Do: - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines and related systems, including fuel, brake, transmission, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service on heavy-duty trucks and equipment
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical and electronic issues
- Repair or replace components such as injectors, turbochargers, starters, alternators, and other engine parts
- Perform engine, transmission, and component overhauls or rebuilds as needed
- Conduct safety inspections and emissions-related testing when required
- Accurately document all work performed, parts used, and services completed on work orders
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Diesel technology certification preferred
- 3–5 years of hands-on diesel repair experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of heavy-duty truck systems, including hydraulics, brakes, and electrical systems
- Experience with computerized diagnostic equipment and tools
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying environmental conditions
