Job Details

Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel-powered equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair generators, diesel engines, pumps, HVAC equipment, and electrical distribution systems.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and equipment failures.
Travel to customer job sites when needed to complete repairs and maintenance.
Set up, operate, and service equipment at customer locations.
Use diagnostic technology, laptops, and tablets to manage service orders and identify equipment issues.
Maintain accurate service records and work order documentation.
Assist with equipment setup, parts ordering, and equipment deliveries.
Follow proper safety procedures and equipment maintenance standards.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Diesel Technician, Diesel Mechanic, Field Service Technician, or Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
Experience troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines and mechanical systems.
Experience working with generators, pumps, electrical systems, or commercial HVAC equipment preferred.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
Ability to read schematics and technical documentation.
Must have their own tools applicable to the position.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
EPA 608 certification is preferred but can be obtained within 6–12 months of employment.
