Diesel Technician

Devivo Companies is seeking a full-time Diesel Technician to join our team in New Britain, CT.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of vehicles.
* Perform diagnostic and repair work.
* Complete required paperwork regarding repair orders and parts usage.
* Make road calls as needed.
* Own and maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions.
* Follow directions from the shop foreman or other supervisor.

Position Requirements:
* High school diploma, technical school, or equivalent.
* Training or experience in the field of automotive, truck, or bus repair.
* Valid driver’s license.
* Ability to hold, or eligibility to obtain, a CDL license.
* Current ASE certifications or a willingness to work toward them.
* Adequate English verbal and written communication skills.
* Physical strength and conditioning to perform all required tasks.
