Position: Dietary Aide
- 1 Full time: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- 1Part time: 3:00 PM- 7:00 PM
Essential Functions:
- Food Preparation Service: Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents in the dining room or their individual rooms.
- Cleanliness Sanitation: Ensure all food preparation areas are kept clean and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
- Dining Area Maintenance: Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and other dining areas after meals.
- Stocking Inventory: Receive and organize food deliveries from vendors, ensuring proper storage in the pantry, refrigerator, or freezer.
- Health Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety procedures, including safe food handling and sanitation practices during food preparation and storage.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the dietary supervisor or facility management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or senior care setting, is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work per diem shifts during weekdays and weekends.
