Dietary Aide – Part-Time & Full-Time

Pay: Up to $15.00/hour

Myerstown Nursing and Rehab is seeking dependable and compassionate Dietary Aides to join our team. Dietary Aides work alongside our dietary and healthcare professionals to support meal service and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment for our residents.

Shifts Available

• Part-Time

• Full-Time

• Flexible scheduling based on facility needs

Responsibilities

• Assist with serving meals in a timely manner

• Help prepare meals and assist the Cook as needed

• Clean and sanitize worktables, meat blocks, refrigerators, freezers, and other food service areas

• Deliver and collect meal trays from resident rooms and dining areas

• Transport trays and dishes to the dishwashing area

• Follow established food service, sanitation, and safety procedures

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Previous dietary or food service experience is a plus but not required

• Dependable and able to work as part of a team

• Compassionate and respectful when working with residents

• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
