    Job Description:

    Essential Duties:

    • Provide individualized nutrition assessments and guidance to participants.
    • Develop meal plans and dietary recommendations tailored to diverse populations.
    • Offer educational workshops and presentations on healthy eating and nutrition.
    • Collaborate with Community Center staff to integrate nutrition programming.
    • Maintain accurate records of client consultations and follow-up recommendations.
    • Stay current on trends and best practices in nutrition and dietetics.
    • Assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by business necessity.
    Job Requirements:

    Minimum Job Requirements:

    • Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required.
    • Must have current CPR Certification.
    • Strong knowledge of nutrition, wellness, and dietary planning.
    • Criminal History Background Check required.
    • Employees are responsible for tracking attendance, starting/ending sessions/classes on time and turning in paperwork in a timely manner.
    • Must exhibit initiative in the absence of supervision.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Experience working with older adults, confident managing multiple participants at a time, and the ability to create a fun environment.

    JCPRD requires reference/background screening for all positions.  Specified criteria may vary by Department.
