We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Dietitian to join our Occupational Health and Employee Wellness team. The Dietitian will provide professional nutrition guidance, dietary assessments, and wellness education to help employees develop healthy and sustainable eating habits.
The Dietitian will be responsible for evaluating employees' nutritional needs, developing personalized dietary plans, and providing individual and group nutrition counseling. The successful candidate will collaborate with healthcare providers, occupational health professionals, wellness coordinators, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to support employee health and wellness.
The Dietitian will also contribute to workplace wellness initiatives by developing nutrition education programs, conducting workshops, and promoting evidence-based dietary practices. The role may involve supporting initiatives related to the nutritional value of crops, fresh produce, and food products produced by the organization.
Conduct comprehensive nutritional and dietary assessments based on individual health needs, eating habits, lifestyle factors, and wellness goals.
Develop personalized meal plans and dietary recommendations based on evidence-based nutrition guidelines.
Provide individual nutrition counseling and ongoing follow-up support to employees.
Educate employees on healthy eating, balanced diets, portion control, meal planning, hydration, and appropriate food choices.
Monitor employee progress and adjust dietary recommendations based on individual needs and outcomes.
Provide nutrition guidance for individuals with specific dietary requirements within the appropriate professional scope of practice.
Develop and conduct nutrition education workshops, wellness seminars, and group counseling sessions.
Create educational materials related to healthy eating, nutrition, food safety, and preventive wellness.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational health professionals, and wellness teams to coordinate nutrition-related services.
Support the development and implementation of workplace wellness programs focused on nutrition, healthy lifestyle choices, and preventive health.
Participate in employee health fairs, wellness screenings, and educational events.
Provide information regarding the nutritional characteristics and health benefits of fresh produce, crops, and agricultural food products.
Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of nutritional assessments, dietary recommendations, counseling sessions, and follow-up activities.
Follow applicable professional, ethical, confidentiality, and regulatory standards.
Stay current with the latest research and best practices in nutrition, dietetics, food science, and dietary guidelines.
Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, Food and Nutrition, Food Science, or a closely related field.
Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential preferred.
Current state license or certification where required.
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in dietetics, nutrition counseling, clinical nutrition, community health, or employee wellness.
Strong knowledge of nutrition science, dietary assessment, meal planning, and evidence-based dietary practices.
Experience providing individual or group nutrition counseling.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and counseling abilities with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.
Strong critical-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate nutrition information clearly to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare and wellness team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic documentation or health record systems.
Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, Public Health, Food Science, or a related field.
Experience working in occupational health, corporate wellness, community nutrition, or employee health programs.
Knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and preventive healthcare.
Experience developing and delivering workplace nutrition education programs.
Familiarity with agricultural crops, fresh produce, food production, and food safety.
Knowledge of culturally diverse dietary practices and nutritional needs.
The Dietitian will primarily work in an office, clinical, or employee wellness environment located at [Company Headquarters or Production Facility]. The position may occasionally require visits to agricultural fields, cafeterias, food processing facilities, or other company locations.
