The Sales Representative located in Houston, Tx is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities. This role involves building strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and offering suitable products or services to achieve individual and company sales targets. The position also focuses on building trusted advisor relationships and gaining a thorough understanding of customers’ technical and business challenges.

Roles and Responsibilities:


+ Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation

+ Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers

+ Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services

+ Present, promote, and explain products or solutions to customers effectively

+ Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and presentations

+ Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales deals

+ Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics

+ Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM systems

+ Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback

+ Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, customer service) to ensure customer satisfaction

+ Handle customer inquiries, objections, and complaints in a professional manner

+ Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and product briefing

+ Monitor customer adoption, technology performance, and feedback to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives.

+ Develop extensive relationships with customer stakeholders, industry partners, and internal domain experts to enable collaboration and joint solution development.

+ Interface with account managers, operations teams, and technical teams to align customer requirements with technical and commercial solutions and proposals.

+ Build an effective opportunity pipeline and sales plan, ensuring accurate forecasting


+ BSc/BA/MBA Degree

+ Minimum of 3 - 7years of experience in sales in the oil and gas industry / IT Industry

+ Training Certification in sales/marketing will be an added advantage

+ Ability to establish local customer relationship

+ Exposed to digital business and digital Savvy

+ Evidence of inclination towards sales / behaviour & personality

+ Self-driven, self-starter who can learn at fast pace

+ Excellent communication and presentation skills

+ Experience working in a multicultural environment and fluency in English is required.

+ Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across functions and domains.

+ Must have the legal right to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
