As a Digital Cloud Solution Architect (DCSA), you will lead customer AI transformation by conducting Frontier and Core Conversations, translating business priorities into secure, scalable AI, data, and cloud outcomes while accelerating adoption, consumption, and measurable business value. With the aid of best-in-class sales processes, techniques, and technologies, you will be empowered to shape customer relationships for a strategic set of Microsofts customers. These customers are adopting industry-leading products and services for their businesses, education or government systems. You will serve as the central point of contact for the customer across engagements helping to drive Microsofts existing cloud & enterprise consumption through developing and managing customer relationships. This role is flexible in that you can work up to up to 100% from home.

Responsibilities

• You will drive Frontier Transformation by helping customers identify, prioritize, and realize AI and agentic use cases through consultative engagement, technical leadership, and cross-functional orchestration.
• You will execute customer engagements across an assigned portfolio, driving technical success, consumption growth, and achievement of customer business outcomes through Microsoft Cloud and AI solutions.
• You will apply customer, industry, and cloud architecture knowledge to support modernization and AI transformation initiatives, influence technical stakeholders, and accelerate adoption of Microsoft technologies.
• You will analyze customer usage patterns, business priorities, and technical challenges to identify opportunities for optimization, expansion, and increased cloud consumption.
• You will design, validate, and implement secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions that meet customer business and technical requirements while supporting successful deployment and adoption.
• You will facilitate architectural design discussions and technical engagements, helping align Microsoft, partner, and customer teams on solution approaches, implementation plans, risks, and success measures.
• You will collaborate with Cloud Solution Architects, Digital Cloud Solution Architects, sales specialists, customer success teams, engineering resources, and partners to remove blockers and accelerate customer value realization.
• You will maintain accurate customer, project, and consumption data in CRM systems, providing timely updates, forecasts, and insights to support business reviews and execution planning.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales OR Relevant certifications from Microsoft or competitive platforms AND 3+ years experience in technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales OR 5+ years experience in technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales OR equivalent experience.

Additional or preferred qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in technical architect, consulting, design and implementation, and/or sales OR equivalent experience.

4+ years experience with cloud-based solution designs, migrations and management of technology.

Digital Cloud Solution Architecture IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $51.15 - $97.88 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $66.15 - $107.02 per hour.
