Job Summary:
Bobricks Marketing Communications team is seeking a talented, on-site Digital Commerce Graphic Designer to create compelling, shopper-focused digital experiences across Bobricks eCommerce and retail partner channels, including Amazon and Webstaurant.com.
As a Digital Commerce Graphic Designer, you will combine strong visual design with an understanding of digital commerce, shopper behavior, and the digital shelf. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled visual communicator with exceptional attention to detail and a strong command of typography, composition, color, and visual storytelling. You understand how creative choices influence product discovery, consideration, and conversion-and how to translate product features and brand stories into clear, engaging digital experiences.
Working closely with our Associate Shopper Marketing Manager, Marketing Communications Director and the broader Marketing team, you will develop digital commerce assets including product detail page content, Amazon A+ Content, infographics, promotional creative, banners, photography, motion content, and other customer-facing marketing materials. A portfolio demonstrating strong digital commerce work, including Amazon and/or other major online retailer product experiences, is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Partner with the Associate Shopper Marketing Manager, Sales, and Marketing teams to translate business objectives, product benefits, shopper insights, and retailer requirements into compelling visual communications.
Design and produce best-in-class digital commerce creative for Amazon, Webstaurant.com and other eCommerce partners, including product detail page imagery, A+ Content, brand stores, infographics, comparison charts, promotional assets, banners, and other digital merchandising content.
Develop shopper-centric creative that communicates product features and benefits clearly, strengthens brand presence and supports consideration and conversion throughout the digital purchase journey.
Apply an understanding of Bobricks customers and end users to visual storytelling, tailoring hierarchy, messaging, and creative approaches to the needs of specific audiences and channels.
Storyboard and develop product imagery, infographics, lifestyle content, motion graphics, and other multimedia assets that help shoppers quickly understand product features, benefits, and differentiators.
Design with a mobile-first mindset, adapting creative appropriately across screen sizes, retailer specifications and placements while maintaining visual hierarchy and message clarity.
Lead or support product photography initiatives approximately two to three times per year in partnership with the Associate Shopper Marketing Manager. Responsibilities may include developing shot lists and storyboards, coordinating photographers and models, organizing products and props, managing schedules and production logistics, and supporting budget management.
Retouch, color-correct and prepare product and lifestyle photography for use across digital commerce channels.
Collaborate with the Associate Shopper Marketing Manager to develop creative for promotional moments and retailer-specific campaigns and other commerce activations.
Maintain a strong understanding of Amazon A+ Content requirements, retailer content specifications, digital merchandising best practices, and evolving eCommerce creative trends.
Partner with the broader Marketing Communications team on new product launches, integrated campaigns and other creative assignments as business needs require.
Collaborate effectively with graphic design team, digital marketers, content team members, product managers, Sales, and external partners to ensure consistent and timely execution.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving and production skills, managing multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting project timelines and deadlines.
Ensure accuracy, quality, and technical readiness of final art files across digital and print deliverables.
Maintain brand consistency across retailer environments while identifying opportunities to evolve creative within established Bobrick brand standards.
Stay current on emerging design, digital commerce and AI-enabled creative tools and identify appropriate opportunities to improve creative development and workflow efficiency.
Responsible for the accuracy, quality, and development of final art files for print and digital deliverables based on existing toolkits.
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
Strong working knowledge of InDesign, Lightroom and Figma.
Experience with Premiere Pro and/or After Effects for motion and video content.
Strong image retouching, compositing, and digital production capabilities.
Familiarity with AI-enabled creative and productivity tools, including OpenAI/ChatGPT and comparable platforms.
Understanding responsive and mobile-first design principles, digital asset specifications, and optimization for eCommerce environments.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Design or a related discipline preferred; equivalent professional experience and a strong portfolio will also be considered.
4+ years of professional graphic design experience with significant experience in eCommerce, digital retail, shopper marketing, or consumer/product marketing.
Portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design across digital commerce, product detail pages, Amazon or other retailer content, digital campaigns, and related marketing channels.
Demonstrated understanding of digital shelf principles and how creative content supports product discovery, consideration, and conversion.
Experience developing Amazon A+ Content and a strong understanding of Amazons content environment and creative requirements.
Ability to translate product features, shopper needs, and marketing objectives into clear and compelling visual stories.
Strong understanding of visual hierarchy and the ability to prioritize content for desktop and mobile experiences.
Strong creative judgment combined with excellent production skills and attention to detail.
Self-starter with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and the confidence to recommend creative approaches rather than simply execute assignments.
Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong collaboration and communication skills with demonstrated success working as both an individual contributor and member of a cross-functional team.
Experience participating in or managing product and lifestyle photography preferred.
Experience in consumer products, building products, architecture and design, plumbing products, commercial interiors, construction, facilities, or commercial real estate is a plus.
