Digital Delivery Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Digital Delivery Specialist to support a diverse portfolio of engineering, construction, and infrastructure projects for our client in Kansas City, MO. This role is responsible for coordinating and executing digital project delivery initiatives, supporting BIM and VDC processes, and driving collaboration across multidisciplinary project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with BIM technologies, digital delivery workflows, and project coordination within engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of digital project delivery across multiple projects and client engagements.
• Perform Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination and collaborate on critical digital delivery initiatives.
• Assist with the development and implementation of digital delivery standards, workflows, processes, and tools.
• Support Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) and design-build project execution.
• Execute digital delivery tasks while adhering to established QA/QC standards, project schedules, budgets, and scope requirements.
• Identify model clashes and support the reporting, coordination, and resolution process.
• Manage project setup activities, including model file configuration, digital project environments, access management, cloud-based collaboration platforms, and related support tasks.
• Leverage AI tools and technologies to streamline repetitive workflows and improve project efficiency.
• Prepare and deliver digital model presentations for clients and project stakeholders.
• Support virtual reality (VR) simulation updates and enhancements for internal and external project teams.
• Research, collect, and maintain project-related data and conduct metadata audits.
• Provide digital delivery support throughout the entire project lifecycle, from planning through project closeout.
• Assist in developing digital delivery scope estimates and budget projections.
• Recommend digital delivery methods, procedures, and technologies in collaboration with project teams.
• Develop and maintain digital delivery schedules and ensure project compliance with established standards.
• Collaborate effectively with engineering, design, and construction teams to support successful project execution.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Virtual Design and Construction, Engineering Technology, Construction Technology, or a related field and at least 4 years of experience planning, organizing, training, and delivering complex BIM models and digital project deliverables across project teams; OR
• Associate degree and 6 years of relevant experience; OR
• 8 years of relevant digital delivery and BIM experience in lieu of a degree.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience supporting BIM, VDC, and digital delivery initiatives on engineering, construction, or EPC projects.
• Strong understanding of digital delivery software platforms, standards, and project deliverables.
• Ability to integrate and coordinate multiple BIM models across various software environments.
• Experience with clash detection, model coordination, and issue resolution processes.
• Familiarity with cloud-based collaboration platforms and digital project environments.
• Understanding of Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) and design-build project methodologies.
• Experience utilizing AI-driven tools to improve workflow efficiency and automation.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
• Ability to learn and effectively implement new technologies and software applications.
