About this role We are looking for a passionate Digital Design lead to drive the creative experience on oktane.com with a knack for creating innovative, product storytelling digital experiences. You are an expert in digital and web properties, love solving product stories through visual and UI designs, enjoy working with design systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to get projects launched. Reporting into the Creative Director of Digital, you will be challenged to deliver design solutions against key digital marketing briefs. You will help craft innovative website experiences throughout the event lifecycle to showcase a world class event experience, always advocating for the brand and taking pride in beautiful, inspiring, and innovative work. This role will be instrumental in collaborating across the Creative Events, Event Marketing, and Digital teams to create effective and smart solutions that meet the brief requirements while pushing creative innovation. The right person for this role will be passionate about seamless UX, captivating visual design, and highly motivated to work in a fast paced environment. What you will do Work closely with the Creative Lead, UX designers, visual designers, copywriters, strategists, and developers on conceptual development, design and execution for digital event experiences on okta.com Clear understanding of project briefs and ability to craft thoughtful digital design solutions to drive user engagement and click through rate Lead meetings, articulate and present ideas in a clear and concise manner; accept constructive feedback and execute against it efficiently Concept, design, and prototype beautiful, engaging, and ground-breaking digital storytelling experiences. Drive innovation by sharing concepts and ideas through storyboards, prototypes, and animations. Collaborate and partner with Brand, Event Marketing, UX, Digital Strategy, Content, Development, and Production teams to launch innovative, brand led digital experiences Ensure the consistency of the brand and highest quality of design across all projects Natural curiosity and passion to learn about and share insights on design and industry trends Think big while operating at the lowest level of detail. What experience you have BA or BFA in Art/Design or related field. Extraordinary digital design skills. World-class portfolio of work. Strong communication presentation skills; proven ability to present to executives/leaders. Highly organized and able to work collaboratively across multiple projects. 7+ years experience in digital art direction and design in a creative agency or client-side group; B2B / tech experience is a plus. Expert knowledge of the creative process and collaborating with UX strategy & design, Copywriters, Developers, and Web Producers Expert knowledge of digital creative software tools (Figma, Adobe CC, Framer, Google Suite). 3-5 years experience using design systems to create innovative, digital marketing websites. Previous experience working on digital event websites is a plus. Solid knowledge of using design systems, creating components and modules. Working knowledge of HTML is a plus. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.
