Responsibilities

Adhere to all plant and corporate safety rules, procedures, and guidelinesReport all safety concerns or issues to the immediate supervisorMaintain a clean and safe work environment by completing daily housekeeping assignmentsComplete make-ready in accordance with the Job Ticket and Product Specification documents to ensure the correct print file, substrate, inks/toners, coatings, and tooling are usedReview and prepare digital print files, including copy, color settings, and layout, before starting the jobComplete all required quality checks related to product specifications, including visual and functional checks and all press-side quality checksOperate the digital press to produce product to customer specifications while maintaining quality, waste, and press efficiencyMaintain consistent quality during the production run. Critical quality checks include copy, color, registration, and ink/toner adhesion. Ensure conformance to all other quality checksComplete all related procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements as outlined in the BRC standardComplete press make-readies in an efficient mannerComplete all required equipment maintenance dutiesClean print components, ink/toner systems, and press parts as required, and lubricate equipment as neededEnter all required information into the Radius system for material usage and time in an accurate and prompt manner

Qualifications

High school diploma or GEDDigital press experience preferred; strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail requiredAbility to work from job tickets, product specifications, and quality standardsAbility to stand for extended periods and work in a manufacturing environmentAbility to work assigned shifts, including 2nd or 3rd shift if required
