Digital Marketing Intern

Join GMI's Internship Program as a Digital Marketing Intern and gain hands-on experience in your area of study. This program gives undergraduate students the opportunity to build skills through challenging assignments that add real value to the business.

The Digital Marketing Intern gains professional experience across a broad range of digital marketing projects that build brand awareness and drive lead generation on our websites, from increasing traffic and improving the visitor experience to testing and maintaining brand consistency.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and publish web and email marketing content
• Troubleshoot web issues such as broken links, page layouts, cross-linking, and visual design
• Create, post, maintain, and enhance web content in our content management systems
• Collaborate with marketing colleagues on product launches and lead generation activities
• Produce or coordinate web deliverables such as site enhancements, forms, videos, and multimedia
• Create digital lead generation campaigns, including landing pages and online advertising
• Apply SEO best practices to drive more traffic to our websites
• Work with outside agencies, including ad, digital, and SEO/PPC agencies

Basic qualifications

• Competency with Photoshop or similar design tools
• Completed at least one year of a bachelor's program in Marketing or Information Technology
• Able to work lawfully in the U.S. with unrestricted work authorization

Preferred qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and video editing
• Experience with WordPress and WooCommerce
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail
• Driven, confident interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous work experience a plus, but not required
