Digital Product Manager III
Birmingham, AL or Charlotte, NC (hybrid- onsite 3 days per week)

Pay Rate: $70.00 - $75.00per hr.
Our client is seeking a seasoned Digital Product Manager to lead the ground-up build of a new digital payments platform (Payment Hub).
This platform will serve as the backend processing engine for digital payments, supporting:
- Mobile banking
- Online banking platforms
Core capabilities include:- Instant payments
- Real-time send/receive functionality (seconds-level processing)
- This is a high-impact, enterprise initiative with ownership from strategy through execution.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product strategy, build, and execution
- Develop the business case and define the implementation strategy
- Act as the central coordination point across all stakeholders
- Partner with:
- Engineering
- Cybersecurity
- Architecture
- Payments Technology
- Business/Product teams (Consumer, Wealth, Commercial Banking)
- Drive integration with mobile and online banking platforms
- Own product roadmap planning and execution
- Translate business needs into technical and functional requirements
- Manage and own vendor relationships and delivery
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree and seven (7) years related experience in digital banking, digital product management, business case development, or financial services
- OR High School Diploma/GED and eleven (11) years related experience in digital banking, digital product management, business case development, financial services, or business requirements/analysis Familiarity or working knowledge of project management and/or software delivery methodologies (i.e. Agile)
- Experience managing an enterprise platform
- Experience building or contributing to large-scale platforms (ideally from the ground up)
- Strong understanding of:
- Agile methodologies
- Product lifecycle management
- Experience with:
- JIRA
- Confluence
- SharePoint
- Strong stakeholder management and vendor management experience
Domain & Technical Requirements
- Payments experience preferred but NOT required
- Open to candidates with strong banking/financial services experience
- Must have a high comfort level in technical environments
- Able to work closely with engineering
- Understand system architecture and dependencies
- Translate business needs into technical solutions
