Dining Room Host

At Chick-fil-A, the Dining Room Host is the heartbeat of our dining room. You're the person guests see welcoming them, checking on their table, and making sure the space feels clean, warm, and inviting. You'll work directly for an independent Owner/Operator and get real hospitality experience that goes well beyond serving great food.

Position Type:

Part time, lunch (late morning to early afternoon) or evening shifts

Dining Room Host Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and make them feel at home from the moment they walk in
• Smile, make eye contact, and speak enthusiastically
• Make emotional connections with guests through table touches, refills, and second-mile service
• Keep the dining room spotless by wiping tables and chairs, sweeping, and taking care of spills right away
• Keep condiment, napkin, and drink stations stocked and tidy
• Help keep restrooms clean and guest-ready
• Help guests with high chairs, carrying trays, and any special requests
• Honor and encourage others to follow the vision and values of the restaurant
• Work on your feet for several hours at a time
• Follow Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A genuine heart for hospitality, and you love serving and helping others
• Cheerful, positive, and outgoing attitude
• Takes pride in a clean, well-kept space
• Consistent and reliable
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask
• Works well on your own and as part of a team
• Available for lunch or evening shifts
• Able to lift and carry 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Able to stand for long periods of time

Pay: Starting at $16.00 per hour and up. Starting pay is based on experience and availability, and raises and advancement come with tenure and training.
