One crucial way we do this, is through our exceptional dining room hosts. Our dining room hosts are instructed to go above and beyond for our guests. They refresh beverages, clear away trays, clean the restrooms, maintain the incredible playgrounds, get to know our guests and more, all with one goal in mind; to have a positive influence on every individual who walks into our restaurant. 

What does a shift at Chick-fil-A as a Team Member look like?

As a Dining Room Host, your shift begins with doing an overall assessment of the dining room. You will utilize the provided “Dining Room Wheel” for reference. This resource begins at the beginning of the dining room cycle, and continues through the steps until you are back where you started. Throughout your shift, you will be checking in with our guests at their tables, offering beverage refreshments, fresh ground pepper, or a simple table clearing of their trash to allow more room for memories to be made. As the dining room host, we greatly encourage you to get to know some of our incredible guests and the stories they have. Whilst interacting with our guests, you will also be responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of our dining room, which includes the parking lot, restrooms and playground. You will have a designated cleaning closet that will store all of the required cleaning supplies. Throughout this process, you will get to meet some incredible individuals, from guests to your fellow team members, incredible interactions will certainly arise.

Position Type:

• Full-time or Part-time positions available

Hours:

• Day shift works between the hours of 5:45am-5pm with flexible scheduling
• Night shift works between the hours of 2pm-11pm with flexible scheduling

Dining Room Host Responsibilities:

• Smile, create and maintain eye contact
• Speak kindly
• Make emotional connections with guests
• Honor and encourage others to follow the vision and values of the restaurant
• Be team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, with a strong work ethic
• Work on their feet for several hours at a time
• Communicate effectively with guests and Team Members
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
• Provide a clean and safe environment for guests and other team members
• Clean and maintain the dining room which includes, the parking lot, restrooms and playground
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Consistency and reliability; MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK FRIDAYS & SATURDAYS

• Able to multitask
• Works well independently and in a team environment
• Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule ,including Saturdays
• Have the ability to lift and carry 20lbs on a regular basis
• Have the ability to stand for long periods of time
• Is able to work with the assigned cleaning chemicals
