The Direct Support Professional provides individualized support, supervision, and assistance to adults with developmental disabilities in a day habilitation program. The DSP is responsible for promoting independence, inclusion, skill-building, and community participation while ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of each individual served. Full-time position Monday - Friday Hours: 7:30am - 3:30pm Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED required; additional education/experience in human services or related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Compassion, patience, and a commitment to supporting individuals with diverse needs.
- Valid driver’s license and obtain a Class E license within 30 days of hire.
- Successful completion of background checks, drug screen, CPR/First Aid, and any required state or agency trainings.
