DSPs play an important part in helping the people we serve live their bestlives with meaning and dignity. DSPs are representatives of Amivie and are expected to createand maintain professional, positive, and nurturing relationships with person served andestablished support systems. It’s important that DSPs must be comfortable and willing to be avital part of providing individualized care to those we serve.
DSPs provide direct care, skill building support, and offer opportunities to individuals diagnosedwith Intellectual Disabilities or Developmental Disabilities, mental health and/or substanceabuse in the following areas; motor skills, communication skills, socialization skills, personalself-care or activities of daily living (ADLs), adaptive behaviors, and the execution of plannedactive treatment goals, electronic documentation, medication management, feeding/mealpreparation, and interaction with individuals.

Ensure all certifications and training requirements and renewals are met on time to maintaincompliance. Including but not limited to:
