Job description:We're looking for caring, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) with an active Maryland Certified Medication Technician (CMT) license to join our growing team.

What You'll Do
As a Direct Support Professional, you will:
- Provide compassionate, hands-on support to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and mobility.
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with Maryland CMT regulations.
- Support individuals in achieving personal goals while encouraging independence and community participation.
- Observe, document, and report changes in health, behavior, or overall well-being.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA and agency policies.
- Collaborate with nurses, case managers, families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful living environment.
- Build positive, trusting relationships while treating every individual with dignity and respect.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Maryland Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification in good standing.
- Valid Maryland driver's license with reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass required background checks and employment screenings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, compassionate, and professional attitude.
Preferred:
- Previous experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), Caregiver, Residential Counselor, Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Personal Care Assistant (PCA), or similar role.
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities, dementia, behavioral health needs, or other special populations.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
