We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team and provide quality support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a community-based setting.

This part-time opportunity offers flexible scheduling and the chance to build meaningful relationships while making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Compensation

• Weekday Pay: $18.20 per hour
• Weekend Pay: $19.20 per hour

Schedule

• Part-time and substitute opportunities available
• Flexible scheduling
• Available shifts:
  • 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate support with daily living activities, including personal care, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Assist individuals with meal planning, meal preparation, and daily household routines.
• Administer medications and monitor health needs as directed.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments, community outings, and other activities.
• Encourage independence while promoting dignity, safety, and personal choice.
• Maintain accurate documentation and complete required records in a timely manner.
• Follow individualized support plans while working collaboratively with the care team.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass a criminal check, physical examination, and tuberculosis (TB) test.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions, policies, medication directions, and documentation.

Preferred

• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities or other human service populations.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience with behavior support strategies.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
