About the Role:
Pinnacle Support Services LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
• Assist clients with personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication management, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately
• Transport and accompany clients to appointments, community outings, and recreational activities
• Foster client independence by teaching life skills and encouraging self-advocacy
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care teams regarding client needs and progress
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all clients

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; experience in human services, caregiving, or a related field preferred
• Genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and promoting their quality of life
• Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to pass a background check and any required health screenings(TB Test)
• Valid California driver's license, car insurance and reliable transportation
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Flexible schedule
• Mileage reimbursement
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
• Bilingual Spanish (preferred)
